Sowing The Seeds Of Change — PRIMO IT, specialists in total IT sourcing for corporate and education accounts, wanted to persuade a ‘hit list’ of potential clients to switch to them as their IT supplier.
We developed a campaign designed to bring sunshine to those potential clients during a dreary summer, with a mini sunflower mailer.
One hundred mini sunflowers in branded pots were posted to the targeted potential clients, supported by a company letter outlining why they should choose PRIMO IT. PRIMO IT’s sales team found that the sunflowers provided a great opener for talking to their potential clients and the company has attracted new business as a result.
Following on from this successful initial PR campaign, we have continued working with PRIMO IT and they remain one of our longest standing clients. Our work now includes developing a PR and marketing strategy, writing and designing marketing collateral as well as working with them on their yearly Christmas campaign.
Each year in the run up to Christmas, PRIMOT IT drum up support and donations within their local community by instigating a Christmas Hamper campaign in association with Shepshed Carers.
Typically, we negotiate with a local paper (the Loughborough Echo) to help support the campaign with articles and features about the campaign, the company and organisation behind it and regular updates as well as notices requesting hamper contents.
Each year, over 100 residents in Shepshed and Coalville receive a hamper.
