As part of this year’s Happy Health Day we were commissioned to undertake detailed research with all local and regional press (print and broadcast) to understand how the event would be received by the media and to flag up any potential issues to the NHS organisers.

We also wrote a communications plan specifically for this event which was delivered by the NHS in-house PR team and made suggestions for on-site press visits, ensuring that there was something on the running order from each part of the county in order to attract press from as wide an area as possible.
