In order to encourage Castrol’s Global Marketing Managers to think differently we produced a marketing pack that was different. It included a full script suggesting how their event(s) would run, an event identity, editable artwork .... and a Power 1 soundtrack!
The soundtrack used motorbike noises for its bed. These already existed and we approached their keeper and asked them to provide us with a diverse range of sounds from revving engines, to workshop sounds, to noises from the pit lane and even team chat over race comms. We then wrapped a contemporary music track around it all.
