CSB Environmental had successfully traded for ten years and its business had evolved to include new and exclusive services. The business now comprises of three divisions and works with a wide range of clients from major blue chips through to councils and SMEs.
CSB Environmental had decided it was time to rebrand the group to form a recognisable company identity that would (with the help of a strategic PR campaign – also designed and implemented by The Phoenix Partners) ensure they were nationally recognised for their range of services.
Once the new brand identity had been agreed we were to pull that through their complete range of business stationery, corporate wear, company vehicles, marketing materials including brochures and e-marketing activity and their website.
Roger worked closely with the company’s Directors looking initially at rationalising more than ten business streams into a simpler structure that allowed for a ‘parent’ brand with two sub-brands that encompassed the essence of the business.
Roger took the Directors through the rebranding exercise step-by-step, proposing new visual identity options based around the company’s connection with water, its care for the environment and emphasising the professionalism that existed within the company. The design was also built around the easy availability of vinyl colours that allowed the logo to be used on white plant hire equipment as well as more traditionally branded items.
The new branding was launched at a family open day where employees and customers celebrated CSB Environmental’s tenth birthday as well as via an industry press release. Feedback was incredibly positive at the family open day and the industry press release received wide coverage and was included in several of their key industry publications and journals kicking off their PR campaign with aplomb.
