It’s our 10th birthday this year – we’re in double figures! As ever, we are going to hit the road and get out and about! Although it’s early days, here is a sneak preview of our plans for the rest of 2012!
January
…And relax! There’s been enough going on over the festive seson, so time for a break in the social diary. Plans are afoot for the next Phoenix Moment – so watch this space!
February
As regional sponsors of the Institute of Directors (IoD), we’ll be out and about in both Leicester and Nottingham this month. We’ll be attending the Leicester breakfast at Tigers on 2nd February, the IoD’s Regional Networking Lunch on 16th February at Nottingham Conference Centre, and the Notts & Derby and Kettering breakfasts on the 21st February. This month sees us doing our early morning slot in Leicester when we attend the IoD’s Leicester breakfast at Tigers on 1st March and the Leicester Professionals Lunch on 8th March at Tiffin. April marks our actual 10th birthday month and to celebrate, we’re having a party! As you’d expect, plans are big, top secret and very, very exciting. Keep your eyes peeled for your invitation or, if you want to be first on the guest list, click here to register your interest!

Continuing our sponsorship, we’ll be at the IoD’s Regional Networking Lunch in Nottingham on the 10th May.
And, something different for May! We’ll be hooking up with one of our primary suppliers and hosting a business event with a twist at their premises. Think luxury … that’s all we’re saying for now. And she’s off climbing another mountain! Not content with her victorious ascent of Mt Kilimanjaro, this year, that mad woman (we mean Rachel Hargrave) is attempting Mount Elbrus in the Western Caucasus mountain range (situation there permitting, of course!). We’ll let you know how she gets on and for those who are really interested (!?!) there will be champagne when she gets back and a reveal of next year’s mountain plan. Past Phoenix Moments
October
October was the first month of our 10th year in business and (especially in this day and age) we thought that was worth celebrating. So, on 31st October we hosted our very own Birthday Launch at Phoenix Square in Leicester, with drinks, nibbles and a private screening of “Little Shop of Horrors”… and we had some exciting news to share! In celebration of reaching our 10th birthday, we have pledged to make the next 12 months extra special for local people in need by fundraising £10,000 on behalf of Leicester Charity Link. We had an amazing evening. Thanks to everyone who joined us at this special event.

One of our favourite clients is celebrating their 10th birthday too… and they happen to be one of Leicester’s best party venues! With that in mind, we decided to join them and celebrate our birthday with them at their birthday extravaganza! Thanks to everyone who came along and joined us in the celebrations. With your help we raised £1068.00 for Leicester Charity Link!
