I am reliably informed, by the internet, that there are 10 hot destinations for 2010. Las Vegas, Vancouver, South Africa, Malaysia, Munich, Greek Islands, Istanbul, Delhi, Newport and Nepal to be precise.

Some of them are no surprise as they are host cities for the big sporting events of the year. Others are destinations that are hoping to shake off the recession, and yet more are emerging destinations keen to appeal to the global market.

What this means is that not only are there some fantastic deals out there but that these places have been investing in their venues and infrastructure. This is great news for events in 2010 and could well put some of the more exotic destinations within the budget of even the most conscientious event planners.

2009 was the year of the introverted event, and because of this there are some real opportunities for those who would like their 2010 event to definitively mark a return to form. And remember, we are always here to help!
